The ANR Corpus Géomédia * project, funded by theFrench National Research Agency (ANR) Corpus Programme (notification n. ANR-12-CORP-0009-01), brings together geographers, media and communication specialists and computer scientists; it provides an innovative database for future research on globalisation, well beyond the geographic and media disciplines. Storing volatile information (RSS feeds enriched with spatial attributes) and free of rights (unlike newspaper articles), it will constitute a useful archive for both historians of the present time and researchers of future generations.
